Upcoming Courses

Games to develop football (12-18years)

Date: Wednesday 2nd March 2011
Time: 7.30pm
Venue: Kingspan Breffni Park, 3G
Tutor: Diarmaid Marsden, Ulster Council

Diarmaid Marsden is the Regional Development Officer for Armagh, Cavan and Monaghan was an All-Ireland winner with Armagh in 2002. In this workshop he will look at conditioned games to develop different aspects of the game for 12-18 year olds.

This workshop is free of charge and open to all.

 

Foundation Award Coaching Course

Date: Friday & Saturday 4th & 5th March
Venue: Kingspan Breffni Park

This is the most basic level and starting point for Coaching Awards in the GAA. Modules will include Code of Behaviour and Best Practice, Introduction to Games, Skill Development, Movement Skills and Coaching Children, Youths and Adults.

Young Referees Course

Date: Saturday 12th March 2011
Time: 10am-12noon
Venue: Kingspan Breffni Park, Large Meeting Room
Tutor: Martin Brady

Young Referees will be vital in the delivery of our U-8, U-10 and U-12 Go Games this year. I would urge all clubs to select at least have 1-2 volunteers for this course. Participants should be 15-18 years.
