Young Celts Nursery Programme

Preparations continue for the launch of Cootehill Celtic GAA’s Young Celts Nursery Programme which will start this Saturday morning at 11am. Coaches are ready to go, brand new equipment is lined up – all that’s left is the children (and parents) to arrive on Saturday!

The club held a successful Information and Registration Night last night (Tuesday) in the Club Dressing rooms. Owen Mooney, Ulster GAA Coach, gave a presentation about the Ulster GAA’s Gaelic Start Programme which our own Young Celts will follow.

The Young Celts programme is one of the first such Gaelic Start Programmes to be rolled out in County Cavan and it will take place every Saturday morning in the hall in St. Aidan’s Comprehensive from 11 to noon.

It will cater for Under 6s (generally Junior & Senior Infants, 1st class and pre-school). This will be an hour long session filled with fun games and activities with a small bit of football thrown in!
