Cootehill Celtic GAA Club Notes - 28^th June

SENIORS & JUNIORS

The Seniors have two games this week with a trip to play Bailieboro tonight (Tuesday) at 8pm in St. Anne's Park and another away game on Friday against Drumalee.  The Juniors are down to play Drumalee on Sunday at 1pm in St. Felim’s Park, Drumalee.  Keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter Page for any changes.

UNDER 16s

The Under 16s qualified for the final of the Division 4 league final with a great win over Knockbride in the semi-final last Wednesday evening in O’Hagan Park Shercock.  The Young Celts played some great football in the opening half and enjoyed a sizeable lead at half time which they kept to advance into the final to play Killinkere.

The game will be played sometime this Thursday but the time and venue has yet to be fixed – as usual please keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter Page for any change. 

UNDER 8s AND 10s

Training continues this Saturday at 10.30am in Hugh O’Reilly Park.  Everyone welcome – especially newcomers!!!

UNDER 13s

Hard luck to the Under 13s who were defeated by St. Finbarrs in Hugh O’Reilly Park in the league last Thursday.  They play Maghera at 7.30pm in Pairc MacFinn, Maghera – Best of luck!!

CAVAN SENIORS

Hard luck to John McCutcheon and the rest of the Cavan squad who were beaten by Longford in the first round of the Qualifiers last Saturday in Kingspan Breffni Park.

VHI CÚL CAMPS

With Summer fast approaching, it's time to start booking your children's place in the VHI Cúl Camp and this summer as usual Cootehill will host a week long camp in Hugh O'Reilly Park from the 11^th to the 15^th July

Application forms are available in St. Michael's school, up in the pitch and you can also apply online at www.vhiculcamps.gaa.ie or contact Aidan McCabe on 086 - 3381427. 

The club are also looking for Volunteer Coaches to help out during the week of the Cootehill Camp, they will receive one day’s training – and gain a Foundation Level Coaching Course at the end of it.  Anyone interested please get in contact with Aidan also.

The numbers for this week's draw took place on Monday in the West End Bar were 3, 5, 12 and 24. There was no winner of the Jackpot but the five weekly winners are: Lisa-Marie Pepper; Aisling Hayes; Ciara Hall; Nastasha Fitzpatrick; Matthew Murphy, c/o Murphs Bisto.
