Cootehill Celtic GAA Variety Concert

CLG Ceilteach na Muinchille is hosting a Variety Concert tonight (Friday) in St. Michael’s Hall starting at 8.30pm sharp. There will be a wide range of performers and acts with Dancers, Musicians, comedians and everything in between – there will be something for everyone!

Among the performers will be a host of Traditional Musicians, Rock groups, Singer and Guitar pairings while a group of Hip Hop Dancers will also take the stage. St. Aidan’s Comprehensive – fresh from the success of their own talent show – are providing some entertainment and the audience will also be treated to the talents of Gene Bannon. The trainer of Cootehill’s 1971 Intermediate Championship and League team, Sean Foy, will make a rare appearance on stage and the night will end on a festive note with a sing-along of Christmas songs and carols. There will be many more performing on the night with something there that will appeal to everyone’s tastes!

Admission of €10 – with children free – is payable at the door and the curtain will rise and the show will start at 8.30pm. It is hoped a good crowd will be present to see that “Cootehill’s Got Talent!!”
